19th century in two parts, the superstructure having an openwork crest carved to show foliate scrolls and rocaille and fitted with two glass shelves, the lower section having a quarter-round door, raised on short cabriole legs. Height 82 inches. In overall stable, attractive condition. Old scuffs, marks ands scratches consistent with age and use. Flaking and scattered areas of loss to gilt decoration. Age splits to base door panel. Some separation to joins. Rocaille element on base trim detached and not retained.
