(French, 1839-1933) Hunt Scene oil on canvas signed E. Petit (lower right) 25 1/2 x 36 inches. Craquelure and repairs throughout (7 patches to the reverse of the canvas, the largest of which is 4 x 4 3/4 inches); otherwise in stable condition. Puncture near the back of the trumpeter; several repaired holes visible from the back. Probable areas of minor overpainting. Additional photos available upon request. Framed: 36 1/2 x 48 inches.
