bordeaux, 18th century having a rectangular top of serpentine outline inlaid with a Maltese cross above the conforming case fitted with three long drawers, raised on splayed legs ending in scroll feet. Height 36 x width 50 1/2 x depth 26 1/2 inches. Property from the Estate of Marlene Nasreddine, Miami, Florida In good, stable, usable condition. Exterior with fairly even finish, having moderate surface wear (nicks & scratches) consistent with age and use, some areas of discoloration, one area to right side as viewed with likely filling. Tight age splits to top and sides. Drawers open and close smoothly, with locks but no key. One handle broken, pieces retained. Some likely reconstruction to drawers, back left leg as viewed with detached carving, piece retained. Scattered worming. Back panels painted, possibly replaced.
