The metal surfaces have superficial scratches that are consistant with age and wear, with subtle notches along the acorn bezel most likely from it's manufacture. NOTE: Two "pearls" at one end (the last two before one of the acorn drops) are faux pearls. These would be easily removable by a jeweler at the buyer's expense.
