Sterling Boyd Strauser (American, 1907-1995) oil on board painting depicting an Impressionist style woman on horseback, matted in an open face frame. Signed "Strauser" and dated "1962" to the lower left hand corner. Frame measures 34-1/2" in height by 29-1/4" in width with the sight image measuring 28" in height by 23" in width. All measurements are approximate. Sterling Boyd Strauser (American, 1907-1995) was a self taught American Impressionist painter and was known primarily for landscapes and still lifes.
