Pair of White Marble Foo Lions, China, late Qing dynasty, the female lion with her mouth closed and her paw resting on her cub and the male lion with his mouth open and his paw resting on a ball, both finely modeled with a large, elaborately carved neck band holding bells that circle the neck and extend down the back in a knotted tassel, both rest on a double lotus dais with triangular brocade on four sides, lion 31 x 43 x 25; base 29 x 37 x 45 in.
