Four Delft Polychrome Chargers, 18th century, with red, green, and blue polychrome decoration comprised of a central blossom surrounded by foliate and floral designs, (imperfections), dia. to 13 1/2 in. Note: This pattern is referred to as "Peasant Delft" in a major delft reference volume, Fourest's Delftware . An example exactly like those in the present lot is shown there, and listed as being from the collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, (plate 149).
