Chinese, 20th century, possibly earlier. Large porcelain lidded table jar with rounded finial at top of domed lid with pink and purple peony flowers above body with rounded shoulders below banding with pink peonies surrounded by scrolled foliates and cartouches with additional small flowers above larger floral scene with small butterflies flying around pink, yellow and purple flowers amid green leaves and large blue rocks above lappet border. Bottom with two circular bands, unmarked. Lidded jar raised on an ebonized wood base. Approximate jar height (to top of finial) 17.4", diameter of bottom 8.25".
