Blackfeet Ermine Skin Headdress, c. last quarter 19th century, the felt cap foundation covered with strips of ermine and with multiple hair drops at the back, further decorated with part of an animal tail, the red-painted carved wood horns tipped with dyed horsehair and brass hawkbells, strings of glass beads secure the horns, includes custom stand, lg. top to bottom 28 in.
