Chinese, 20th century, possibly earlier. Two hand painted porcelain vertically aligned plaques contained within wood rectangular frames comprising of one with man in light blue robes walking with child in pink robe on a bridge near lotus flowers under green weeping willow tree, marked upper left with black calligraphic marks and red marks; the other with elderly man (possibly scholar) with bamboo staff and hat in an outdoor garden setting with child in purple robe holding basket of flowers, marked upper left in black calligraphic marks and red seals. Each measures approximately 14.75" x 9.9". Sight size of plaque approximately 12.5" x 7.5".
