Known for his colorful and rich paintings of traditional Chinese scenery, Fang was the recipient of numerous awards both in China and abroad, including Second Place in the Ninth Nationwide Art Exhibition for Chinese Painting, and the Excellence Award at the First Nationwide Landscape Paintings Exhibition. Fang has had individual shows across the world, including in London, Bangkok, Melbourne, Singapore, and across China and the United States.
