Japanese, 20th century. Porcelain figural group depicting a large happy Buddha figure (hotei) with bald head, rosy cheeks and smiling facial expression wearing and floral patterned loose robe showing his exposed chest and rounded stomach seated with five small five young male children attendants in similar dress. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 7.75", width (of bottom) 6.25", depth (of bottom) 3.8".
