Japanese, 20th century. A set of six sake cups with hand painted decoration of the Buddhist Immortals to the central medallion topped by a band around interior rim of red with gilt floral decoration, with decoration to outer rim of a wine band of cream colored with gilt border. Marked to underside with hand painted three character calligraphic mark. Cups to a carved rosewood stand of graduated form with meandering key and scroll decoration. Each cup approximately 1 1/8" tall x 2" diameter at opening, stand approximately 4" x 15 3/8" x 2 3/4".
