Utagawa Kunisada III (Japanese, 1786-1865). A group of two Ukiyo-e woodblock prints on paper, one depicting a male figure at center with arms crossed at chest and a fan in his right hand held across his body, the subject wearing a large robe of blue and red with white geometric pattern, red hat, and black shoes below blue tight pants, set within a landscape with solid white field below a high horizon line above which descend Cherry blossoms over a blue field from an unseen tree above the matrix, signed to lower left with signature used from 1811-1844, framed approximately 21 1/4" x 16 1/2", sheet size 14 5/8" x 10"; and a second depicting a single male samurai at center in ornate silk robes with left hand withdrawing sword from scabbard at his waist and right hand raised up to his forward, with a figural scene to upper left within rectangular cartouche, signature to lower right enclosed in a Toshidama cartouche which was used after 1847, framed approximately 20 3/4" x 17 1/2", sheet size approximately 10" x 6 7/8"._x000D_
