Japanese, 20th century. Hand painted porcelain footed rice bowls or handleless cups and saucers with gilt accented Satsuma figural decoration throughout with alternating medallions with courtly figures, Buddhist Immortals and landscape scenes. Each raised on wooden base and marked on bottom of vessel. Approximate height of porcelain lidded bowl or cup (without base) 3", diameter of bowl 4.25".
