A bronze vide de poche of concave form depicting a Japanese male face with slightly ajar mouth smiling below swooping eyes and full cheeks, the man wearing a patterned kerchief to his head which is decorated to verso with a woven basket form radiating light, the verso of dish with negative impression of the face depicted at front. Unmarked. Approximately 5.25" x 3.625".
