Late 19th/Early 20th Century. The mottled cream to carnelian stone depicting a standing priest with a knotted cap and mustache, gazing forward and holding a small sacred beast, in a long robe finely incised with a Taoist roundel and exquisite borders simulating embroidery, embellished with ‘jeweled cabochons’. Height 4½”. (Cond: good, finely detailed, nice color, good quality all around) (1000/1500)
