English or French. Circa 1855. A composite of Neoclassical and Renaissance styles. Each with six leaf cast scrolled candle arms supporting an either an eagle, a monkey, or squirrel, with a center arm supporting a displayed eagle, the standard with multiple stylistic elements, on a three-sided base cast with dolphins and trumpeting putti, on a conforming verde antico plinth. Height 33 ½”. Width across arms 16”. (Cond: one arm repaired, re-gilt) (6000/8000)
