Chinese, late 19th/ early 20th century, possibly Guangxu Period (1875-1908). A porcelain teapot of globular form decorated to exterior with vibrant orange glaze having gilt motif of flowering grasses and calligraphic marks, teapot with upturned spout to one end and twisted bronze loop handle to top connecting on trefoil apertures to front and back. Marked to underside with red overglaze seal mark similar to the Guangxu imperial reign mark. 3.75" tall, 6" edge to spout.
