Chinese, 20th century. A stained wood table screen with central round famille rose porcelain plaque with hand painted decoration depicting Shou, the Chinese god of longevity, at center with bulbous forehead wearing long yellow robes and holding the Peach of Immortality, flanked to left by the Buddhist Immortal figure Lan Caihe as a beautiful young woman in pink robe holding a basket of flowers, the pair set within a landscape, the wooden surround of rectangular footed form with reticulated carvings to flat planes and dragon form feet. Inscribed center left of plaque with three lines of black calligraphic marks over a red square mark. Overall approximately 25.25" tall, 20" wide, 7.5" deep. Painted medallion approximate sight size 11".
