Rufino Tamayo (New York/Mexico, 1899 - 1991) unframed mixed media drawing, signed "R. Tamayo" to lower right. Measures 11" in height with width of 14". This piece comes without paperwork of authentication, but signature and style are consistent with those of the artist's known works. In overall good condition, all measurements are approximate. Provenance: from the estate of a prominent Texas collector, known to not only to have collected quite an amazing assortment of notable art, but to have befriended a vast majority of the artists of whose work was acquired.
