Chinese, first half 20th century. A group of two hand embroidered vertical framed silk panels comprising of one deep navy blue panel embroidered with red and metallic threading to depict a jardiniere at center holding blooming chrysanthemum flowers and with more flowers around its base; the other with tonal embroidery on a yellow panel depicting two cranes at bottom sitting below a flowering branch and bamboo, their legs in flowing water and with other birds and butterflies above. Yellow panel framed approximately 38.5" x 16.5", blue panel framed approximately 29.25" x 12.25".
