Chinese, late 19th/ early 20th century Qing Dynasty. A hand embroidered silk textile altar table panel in vibrant orange, blue, purple, and yellow with gilt accents having intricate figural scene depicting with four courtly figures proceeding up stairs to either side of covered altar bridge, the front of the altar structure with arched openings displaying undulating organic forms in orange and blue above stylized cascading waves, the bridge with two figures to either side with the foremost figures each holding a precious object and the back figure carrying an inscribed flag at the end of a pole, with cloud scrolls above and throughout the scene and tall flowers flanking both ends, the textile with bands to top and bottom edges displaying medallions of meandering key interspersed along a flowering vine. Approximately 22.25" x 55.75".
