Chinese, late 19th or early 20th century. A petite or diminutive round Chinese side or occasional table (or plant stand) designed for the Western market, the round top with pink marble inset framed by foliate carving and beaded table top edge, over the cavetto molded frieze surmounting the pierced skirt with relief carved floral and foliate motifs, raised on four cabriole legs with heavily carved floral motifs and knees, joined by a lower circular shelf with molded edge, terminating in webbed ball and claw feet. Approximate height 26.5", depth (knee to knee) 22.5" .
