Attributed to William Collins (British, 1788-1847) The Little Gleaners . Unsigned. Oil on canvas, 10 x 11 3/4 in., framed. Condition: Craquelure, surface grime. Provenance: The estate of Ruth Troiani, Connecticut. Ruth and her husband Dominick married in New Orleans in 1942. They began collecting antiques shortly thereafter, and started dealing in antiques in the 1960s.
