Neil Welliver (American, 1929-2005) Moose , 1981, edition of 79 plus proofs, published by Brooke Alexander, New York (Welliver, 61). Signed "Welliver" in pencil l.r., numbered "54/79" in pencil l.l. Color aquatint on paper, plate size 11 x 8 1/2 in. (27.8 x 21.5 cm), framed. Condition: Gentle rippling, not examined out of frame. Provenance: Collection of Robert Bradford Newman (1917-1983), professor of architectural acoustics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology School of Architecture and the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and co-founder of Bolt, Beranek and Newman Inc., Cambridge, Massachusetts.
