Japanese & Korean, 19th/20th century. Group of four wooden storage boxes of rectangular form comprising of a Japanese Shunkei clear lacquered cedar two drawer box with circular copper hardware on drawer fronts and bronze C-shaped bail handle at top; a Japanese textured lacquered box with three drawers (pierced circular holes at back); a Japanese 19th century pine wood safe or coin box with pierced slit on middle of top above two locking pull out drawers with circular iron hardware; and a Korean lacquered paulonia wood stationary box with faceted wooden knob on drawer front and thin bronze strap work on exterior. Cedar box approximate height 6", width 5.2'", depth 7.1". Safe approximate height 7", width 8.9', depth 12". Korean box approximate height 5.5", width 10", depth 15".
