Wedgwood Queen's Ware Soup Tureen, Cover, and Stand, England, early 19th century, polychrome enameled and gilded with an armorial crest, impressed mark, bowl dia. 9 in. Note: The arms are purported to be those of the Duke of Clarence and St. Andrews (later William IV) (1765-1837). The Duke ordered the service from Wedgwood and by the time he took delivery he had become King of Great Britain.
