likely 19th century the small bowl rising from a short straight foot to a flaring mouth rim, the exterior of the steep wells painted with two writhing five-clawed dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst auspicious clouds, below a foliate border, all against a yellow ground, the interior with a central medallion enclosing a shou character, bearing a six-character Kangxi mark in underglaze blue to the underside. Diameter 4 inches. In overall good and complete condition, moderate wear throughout consistent with age and use.
