having a spherical body rising to a tall cylindrical neck, painted to show phoenix amongst flowering peonies under a band of plantain leaves below ribbon-tied Buddhist emblems, all against a dark ground, the underside bearing a six-character Qianlong iron red mark. Height 8 inches. moderate wear and surface scratching; repairs visible at neck and through body; 3 chips to to top rim, largest approx. 1/4" (see images)
