second half 19th century the rectangular marble top with canted corners over a frieze drawer and two cupboard doors, each inlaid to show foliate scrolls and other elements, raised on bracket feet. Height 41 1/2 inches. Old scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The top paneling of the case has been replaced. Discoloration to the gilt mount. Each door with a vertical age split through the panel and the inlaid decoration. Losses and lifting to the inlays throughout, with few bits retained.
