18th century and later comprising three Derby figures of putti holding baskets of flowers and donning floral wreaths and garlands, together with two Chelsea figures depicting a gentleman ringing a bell and a laborer holding a basket, each bearing an anchor mark in gilt. Height of tallest 5 inches. Property from the Collection of Caroline Carter, Wilmette, Illinois Each Derby figure in fair condition consistent with age. Scattered edge chips to the encrusted floral and foliate decoration. Tallest Derby figure missing a leaf to its proper-left hand; the leaf in the proper-right hand is chipped. One figure with small deposits of a faint brown residue to the base which fluoresce under UV light. The two small Chelsea figures in good condition, with areas of minor discoloration and loss to the paint.
