18th century having a serpentine seat surmounting four square forelegs and four saber rear legs joined by a stretcher. Height 38 x width 72 x depth 28 inches. Provenance: Purchased Malcolm Franklin, Inc., Chicago, 1977 In good, stable, usable condition. Later upholstery intact without rips or stains. Exposed mahogany with even finish, having light to moderate surface wear (nicks and scratches) consistent with age and use. All eight casters present. Additional images available upon request.
