john minshul, denbigh, 18th century having a square brass face with Roman numeral hours and Arabic numeral minutes, further inset with seconds and date dials, with a straight rectangular trunk raised on bracket feet. Height 77 3/4 inches. Property from the Estate of Nadine P. Martens, Glen Ellyn, Illinois In overall decent, stable condition. Case complete with fairly even finish, having moderate surface wear (nicks and scratches) consistent with age, including age splits, areas of repair and worming. Glass to hood intact without cracks. Brass dial in good condition but lacking seconds hand. Works appear complete with pendulum, bell and two iron weights. Clock runs then stops, pendulum hits backboard, unsure as to accuracy or duration of movement. Additional images available upon request.
