late 19th century of double gourd form, cast to show scrolling vines throughout. Height 20 inches. In good, stable condition overall. Cover possibly later; base likely later. Surface scratches and minor nicks throughout, consistent with age. Accumulation of dust and grime to the recesses. Minute hole to the cover. Scattered areas of a reddish substance to the surface, as well as areas of oxidation throughout.
