early 19th century in two parts, the superstructure with a shaped mirror-inset cornice and a pair of domed, mirror-inset doors above two drawers, the lower section with a slant-front writing surface above three drawers, raised on bracket feet. Height 82 x width 37 3/4 x depth 16 3/4 inches. Property from the Collection of Linda Match, Thiensville, Wisconsin In overall good, stable, sable condition. Appears complete. The mirrors to the superstructure intact without cracks or repairs but having losses to silvering throughout. The veneers with even finish throughout, having usual light to moderate surface wear consistent with use. Veneers with tight age splits throughout but without any major areas of loss. Doors and drawers all open, lower drawers stick. Upper doors and fall front with lock, having one key which works for both. Additional images available upon request.
