painted to depict a young woman wearing a floral crown within a gilt decorated floral border, the reverse titled Rosen and bearing a transfer printed mark in underglaze blue. Diameter 10 inches. In good, stable and complete condition without chips or cracks. Light surface wear to the painted and gilt decoration. Minor shelf wear to the foot rim. Examination under UV light causes minute accretions of grime to fluoresce.
