19th century having a rectangular marble top over three drawers, raised on tapering legs. Height 34 1/2 x width 48 x depth 24 1/4 inches. Property from the Collection of Dr. and Mrs. Jack Durell, McLean, Virginia In overall good, stable, usable condition. Marble top intact without cracks or repairs, having some minor chipping to back edge and light surface scratching to top. Case with fairly even finish to the exterior but with some areas of fading. Light surface wear (nicks and scratches) consistent with age and use. With horizontal age splits to both side panels. Drawers each with lock, no key. Drawers open and close smoothly. Some splits to drawer bottoms and losses to boards between drawers. Pulls to middle drawer appear shifted out suggesting that all might have been replaced. Some slight looseness to joints.
