19th century having a rectangular marble top over a frieze drawer and three recessed drawers flanked by columnar pilasters, raised on square feet. Height 34 1/2 x width 50 x depth 25 1/2 inches. Property from the Estate of Gerard Planchon, Paris, France and Naples, Florida Both back of commode and bottom of marble with "Le Garde Meuble" label. On overall good, stable, usable condition. Marble top intact without cracks or repairs, having some minor chipping primarily to the back edge. Mahogany with even finish throughout, some minor surface wear (nicks and scratches) consistent with age and use. Some minor veneer losses. Both side with vertical age splits. All drawers open and close smoothly. Frieze drawer without locks, lower three drawers all supposed to have locks, only two present, no key. Additional images available upon request.
