Yoruba people, late 19th / early 20th century. A Yoruba people of Nigeria Oba crown (sometimes Ade or Adenia), with elaborate seed beading depicting figures and reptiles, the crown crested by a bird whose wings are draped with articulating beaded strands, apparently unmarked. Approximate diameter 07.5"; height 16.5".
