Herend Porcelain (Hungary, founded 1826), 20th century --circa 1940s. Collection of two porcelain figural sculptures comprising of a kneeling nude female bather with arms raised and hands in long dark hair, pale green cloth draped across thighs, white body, seated on a rectangular box on an integral oval base; and a kneeling nude woman with shoulder length curled hair admiring herself in a gilt hand mirror, signed on base "Szilagyi Nagy Istavan". Each marked on bottom with blue Herend Hungary mark with shield above "HANDPAINTED", each also with incised pattern numbers "HEREND 5706" and "HEREND 5724". Bather approximate height 14.4". Young lady with mirror approximate height 9.25".
