Chinese, 20th century. A Dehua blanc de chine glazed Yuan Dynasty style pot or jar having high shouldered round form surmounted by incurvate neck and overhanging round mouth with applied tiger's mask handles to either shoulder, the whole having relief carved dragon amid clouds decoration flanked between lappet bands and covered with very thin light celadon glaze. Shoulder with six lines of cobalt underglaze calligraphy, likely a poem. Underside with applied square signature seal mark. Approximate height 14.625", diameter12.25".
