Chinese, 20th century. A porcelain hu form vase, a form also often referred to as a Hundred Deer vase, having pear shaped form with applied deer's head handles to either shoulder, the vase overglaze painted to one side with elder figural scene depicting a scholar flanked by two servants in a landscape, the alternate vase body side inscribed with calligraphy and seal marks. Unmarked. Approximate height 12.875", diameter 10".
