Chinese, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). A fine famille rose bowl with scalloped rim and interior decorated in polychrome enameled with precious ornaments, "Hundred Antiques/Treasures", the exterior with iron red bats in flight. The underside bearing four-character mark featuring Zhi: Cheng hua nian zhi / Chenghua reign. Approximate height 1.62", diameter 9.25". Provenance: Property from the Private Collection of Mrs. Nancy Rutledge Pogue, Blufton, South Carolina (wife of Mr. William Pogue, who served as an heir to the H. & S. Pogue Company department store chain based in Cincinnati, Ohio).
