Derby Porcelain (England, founded 1756), circa early 19th century. A matched pair of biscuit porcelain twin-handled urn form vases in the Neoclassical style having a fluted spreading neck, the shoulders mounted with handles over a berried laurel leaf banding and applied floral garlands above acanthus leaves molded around the base of the body raised on a socle with berried laurel leaf on square foot. The underside of each with incised Derby mark and incised N 31. Approximate height 8", width 5.5". Provenance: From the Private Collection of the Owner of Chelsea House.
