Continental, likely French, late 19th century. Matched pair of Armorial porcelain covered potpourri jars, urns, or vases, each having a dome shaped lid over a baluster shaped body pierced at the shoulders and mounted to each side with ram's masks, body decorated to one side with a heraldic coat of arms with a lion and a wolf, the reverse decorated with leafy floral motif, the whole in white ground and heightened with parcel gilt, raised on a socle foot and square plinth base. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 8.5", base width 2.62", base depth 2.62". Provenance: From the Private Collection of the Owner of Chelsea House.
