A carved hard stone, possibly duan or slate, relief plaque of panoramic rectangular form depicting nine scaly serpentine dragons chasing pearls set before a mountain landscape above rolling waves or clouds, the stone to a stained and ebonized wooden frame. Unmarked. Framed approximately 10.75" x 29.25", unframed approximately 5.25" x 23.75". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
