Style of Miyagawa Choshun (Japanese, 1682-1752). A 20th century Japanese four-panel folding floor screen in the style of great Edo Period ukiyo-e master, Miyagawa Choshun, depicting a tea garden scene with white-faced geishas meandering past stylized trees, rocks and cherry blossoms before an elaborate pavilion, with muted gold metallic background, with with two fabric borders within ebonized wood frame, the frame accented with incised metal adornments, the screen signed to lower left with additional red insignia. Each panel approximately 48" x 24.5"; overall approximately 48" x 98".
