Chinese, 20th century. A flambe glazed pottery vase of bottle form with compressed globular base raised on flared ring foot and issuing tall narrow neck in the form of a bamboo rod, allover with deep red to blue flambe glaze. Underside with impressed apocryphal mark for the Yongzheng Period (1723-1735). Approximate height 10.625", diameter 8.75".
