Chinese, Kangzi Period mark (1662-1722), likely 20th century. A large porcelain brush pot of subtly waisted cylindrical form with cobalt blue underglaze hand painted decoration on white ground with two rectangular cartouches each containing Buddhist monks or elders in landscape scenes with lush foliage and bodies of water. Underside with six character blue underglaze Kangzi imperial reign mark. Approximate diameter 7.75" x 6.125".
